Interior: Christian Louboutin’s shiny new 2,850 sq ft flagship is made up of three rooms (one of which is a hidden library) with chic alcoves displaying his fanciful heels.
Why Go: Because Christian Louboutin has just been voted the most sought after luxury shoe brand in the 2008 Luxury Brand Status Index survey from the Luxury Institute, and because Mount Street is the new Bond Street. While here, lunch at Scotts and check out Louboutin’s fashionable neighbours such as Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs and Aesop.
Most likely to see: Anyone from Kate Moss to Katie Holmes, both have red sole fever.
Extras: This store is home to styles you can’t find anywhere else, including those designed for catwalk collections; shoes made exclusively for Jonathan Saunders, Roland Mouret, Martin Grant and Rodarte will take pride of place in the window.
