Set in the converted Georgian Soho townhouse that once housed Richard Corrigan’s Lindsay House, Gauthier Soho combines what they call a ‘vegecentric’ menu with the kind of top-level service and ambience you’d expect from a ‘normal’ upscale restaurant. Beef, lamb and fish are represented too, but vegetarians who fancy a real experience – including all manner of little amuse bouches and other touches you’d normally expect in a high-end establishment – should treat themselves to the £68 vegetarian goût-du-jour tasting menu.
