Headonism is a British Fashion Council initiative curated by Stephen Jones, celebrating the new wave of emerging London milliners. It showcases emerging London milliners within an installation that was located this February in the East Wing of Somerset House. It was launched during the BFC’s 25 year celebrations by Mayor of London Boris Johnson. Headonism is supported by Royal Ascot.
“Millinery is an integral part of fashion at Royal Ascot. We are
very excited to once again be working with the British Fashion Council
to support a new generation of millinery.”
Charles Barnett, Chief Executive at Ascot Racecourse
"I am delighted to present 'Headonism', a showcase of the most
innovative milliners working in the UK today. Charlie, Justin, Noel,
Piers and William are extraordinary individuals who make groundbreaking
hats that reinforce the reputation that London is the world capital of
millinery. I am honoured that the British Fashion Council has taken us
under their wing and thrilled that Headonism is sponsored by Royal Ascot
which is the Gloriana of fabulous hats."
