Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief™, a spectacular charity fashion show and auction, was back for 2010, taking centre stage at the British Fashion Council’s official London Fashion Week show venue, at Somerset House, on 18th February.

At the press day on November 11th, the BFC announced the winners of a programme to develop eco fashion businesses as part of its ethical fashion initiative estethica.

On Friday September 18th 2009, world renowned British photographer Chris Moore, showcased 25 of his most iconic images from the last 25 years at Number 11 Downing Street. The exhibition, hosted by Maggie Darling, ran alongside Sarah Brown's reception at No 10, both in recognition of London's trailblazing fashion stars of the past 25 Years. The images are on display throughout September's Fashion Week in the East Wing of Somerset House.

The NEWGEN winners for spring/summer 2010 announcement was made at LFW's new home Somerset House. NEWGEN, established in 1993, has become one of the world's most internationally recognised talent identification schemes.

The British Fashion Council's 1st 'estethica Press Day' took place on Thursday, 23rd April 2009, in The Atrium, The May Fair, Stratton Street, W1. It showcased 23 ethical labels whose collections will be edited by Yasmin Sewell, who among other projects is Chief Creative Consultant of Liberty.
