Designer names: Annette Felder and Daniela Felder

Origin: The Felder sisters are from Germany “but London is our home”.

Career highlight: “Working with amazing musicians for their show outfits as well as on the soundtrack for our shows at LFW.”

Design background: The twin sisters studied at Central St Martins and then started their own label in 2006.

Design signatures: “Modern, sexy, cool.”

How would you describe the Felder Felder woman? “A charismatic woman who is at ease with herself and the world. Age doesn’t matter. A Felder Felder woman is young at heart and she is a little wild too.”

Trademark piece: “A cool tailored jacket with rock'n'roll edge worn with one of our signature leather jewellery pieces.”

Three autumn/winter 2012 inspirations: “Ryan McGinley, Mayan Calendar and grunge girl meets bombshell.”

What does 2012 hold for your brand? “A lot - it will be a year full of wonderful surprises.”

What is your favourite decade in fashion? “Effortless seventies / grunge nineties.”

Where do you go in London to seek artistic inspiration? “We go to museums and gigs, which never fail to inspire. But more of all, our girlfriends are our true muses.”
