Natasha Zinko is a London-based jewellery and ready-to-wear designer. She is a graduate of Central St Martin’s, where she studied Jewellery Design. The British Fashion Council added her to the official London Fashion Week Calendar in June 2015.
Originally from the Ukraine, after undergoing a degree in Law, she moved to London to undertake an Art & Design Foundation at Chelsea College of Arts in 2006.
One of the most talked-about young labels in London, the brand has undergone an impressive trajectory – what began with Zinko designing pieces ad-hoc in response to requests from close friends now sees the collections carried globally in the finest luxury stores.
The free-spirited, conceptual Ready-to-Wear collections honour the codes of the finest craftsmanship and are created entirely in her London atelier. Playful use of colour, volume and proportions is key; Zinko's talent for highlighting the female form in whimsical and unexpected ways sees boldly sculptural pieces executed in luxurious fabrics.
Her fine jewellery is a play on symbols, familiar or proverbial, but given a new translation. Icons are reworked on 18 carat gold and precious stones.
Natasha Zinko opened her flagship boutique in 2011 in the centre of Mayfair on Maddox Street.
