Beth Gilmour is a graduate of Central Saint Martin’s and the Royal College of Art, where she graduated with a master’s degree in 2005, in Goldsmithing Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery.
Following her graduation, her freelance experience in jewellery design for many well known brands led her to establish her own studio in Bloomsbury, where she designs and makes all her pieces.
What defines Beth’s work is her unparalleled fine detailing, which never fails to fascinate the viewer. The signature patterns running through Beth’s core collections have a fresh, quintessentially British aesthetic, influenced by traditional heritage.
Based in London, Beth has developed these designs into bold, contemporary pieces. An unorthodox use of colour-change gemstones and precious metals is a defining characteristic of her designs, and is combined successfully in the dramatic ‘Dichroma’ collection.
Beth’s commitment to creating innovative and exiting jewellery has won her many awards; most recently from The Goldsmiths Craft and Design Council. She is a regular exhibitor at the prestigious Goldsmiths Fair, London and has exhibited at many international shows such as New York Gift Fair and Inhorghenta, Munich. Her jewellery is stocked in a number of shops and galleries in the UK, Europe and in North America.
