DESIGNER NAMES: Levi Palmer and Matthew Harding

BACKGROUND: Levi studied womenswear and pattern-cutting at El Centro College in Dallas before moving to London to study menswear BA at Central Saint Martins. Matthew studied womenswear BA and MA at Central Saint Martins.

SIGNATURES: “Quietly beautiful shirts.”

TRADEMARK PIECE: “The spiral pleated shirt.”

IDEAL CLIENT: “Caroline Issa, Carmen Borgonovo and Chioma Nnadi. These are all intelligent and inspiring women in our lives.”

THE COLLECTION: “We've been exploring new textures and shapes. There's a constant battle with contradictions - structure/fluid, light/dark, austere/romantic, masculine/feminine, lightweight/heavy – AW13 is a balancing act between these extremes.”

CULTURAL INFLUENCES: “We’re extremely influenced by other cultural elements like music, we are more emotive designers. There's an edited soundtrack to the collection already, which focuses on the mood.”

PLANS FOR 2013: “We have an exciting collaboration in the pipeline and a trip back to Texas!”
