Upon receiving the prestigious ‘International Wool Award’, Anthony worked directly with Romeo Gigli, a notoriety that proved to be an important pinnacle of his career. A meticulous designer in his own right, Anthony then went on to reside in Italy where he worked at the illustrious Max Mara within their Sportsmax division.
Following his return to London, Anthony spearheaded the quintessential British label DAKS where he developed the brands first luxury collection for their new Bonds Street store and initiated and managed their high-end E1 collection for European and Far East markets.
His work at global Luxury brands Joseph, Rene Lezard and Amanda Wakeley was instrumental in fostering his knowledge of fashion within international markets. It was here where he oversaw the development of the collections for the European, American and Japanese markets while simultaneously working between London and Paris before moving to Australia.
At the helm of sass & bide’s design, Anthony endeavours to produce progressive, luxury garments which cater to the customer in both the Northern and Southern hemisphere. A design-led brand with an original, niche point of view of contradictions and free spirit will continue to reside at the core of each collection
