Fashion East Menswear Installations

The Fashion East Menswear Installations is an exciting alternative to catwalk launched in 2009 by Fashion East (the non-profit organisation established by Lulu Kennedy MBE and the Old Truman Brewery in 2000). An accompaniment to the MAN catwalk initiative with TOPMAN, the event has gone from strength to strength and is considered a one-stop shop for a peek at the next generation of menswear heavyweights.
Up and coming menswear designers present their collections using a combination of static exhibits, live models and multimedia. Past installations have included a bus shelter, a spaceship, a boxing ring, a greasy spoon café, live bands and a speakeasy.
The platform offers invaluable exposure and often acts as a springboard for designers such as Matthew Miller, Martine Rose and Agi & Sam who have gone onto MAN, NEWGEN and the solo catwalk schedule.
