Career highlight: “We have been lucky to work with many talented designers over the years but a definite highlight was working on fantastic fashion shows in the mid nineties such as John Galliano’s first show for Dior, Alexander McQueen’s first show for Givenchy, Dries Van Noten and Ungaro all in one season.”

Design background: "Karen and Vicki used to have a retail store together in New York and worked together there."

Design signatures: “Statement fashion jewellery, sometimes with a vintage feel, and often with a rock’n’roll twist.”

How would you describe the Erickson Beamon woman? “We are blessed with clients as far reaching as Lady Gaga and Helen Mirren. People with a strong sense of self expression always love Erickson Beamon.”

Name three things that are inspiring you for spring/summer 2011: “Brigitte Bardot, Mad Men and Karen Elson”

What is your brand philosophy? “Keep it fun.”

How do you see the brand moving forward and developing? “We have started to make really exciting homewares like chandeliers and mirrors; there are plans to expand into other categories.”

What's new for you this season? “Lots of luxe gold colourways and lots of brooches.”
