Origin: Skopje, Macedonia

Career highlights: “Winning NEWGEN sponsorship. The success of the Kokon to Zai shops.”

Design background: Marjan studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins while Sasa was studying constructive engineering. They are the business minds that stand behind the retail network of the cult stores Kokontozai, based in London and Paris.

What are your design signatures? “A mix of couture and street.”

How would you describe the KTZ customer? “Someone who possesses true individual style. They would be young and from a musical or artistic background. Our designs are affordable enough to reach a large audience but they also have intellectual elements with a more elite appeal.”

Name three things that are inspiring you for spring/summer 2011: "Me, you, them."

What encapsulates London fashion for you? “The Kokon to Zai Notting Hill store. Go Westside!”

What do you hope the new decade will mean for your brand? “A chance to explore things we have always wanted to do.”

How does London influence your designs? “It's the melting pot of creativity, fashion, style, intellect and pheromones that makes us and our design brains tick.”
