Chester Barrie, Savile Row was first established in London in 1935 by Englishman Simon Ackerman who had previous experience in creating high quality tailoring in and around New York with the intention of providing a Savile Row quality suit without the time and expense of buying a bespoke garment.
The brand has been re-established over the past three years with Edward Sexton (cutting and tailoring power behind the then world famous Tommy Nutter name) now consulting for them. He has been heavily involved with trying to improve the cut and fit of the classic suit by searching through the brand’s archives to create a garment that is quintessentially Chester Barrie.
Today Chester Barrie provides the gentleman with access to classic and luxurious suits, shirts and ties for an accessible price using only the highest quality of suiting cloths and shirting fabrics.
