SIGNATURES: “Effortlessly elegant lines, silk prints and innovative techniques.”
TRADEMARK PIECE: “The magnetic print scarf.”
IDEAL CLIENT: “Eccentric, stylish women.”
THE COLLECTION: "Focusing on the idea of concealment and the unseen, the print and detailing of garments are inspired by the interiors of citrine geodes. I was interested in exploring the idea of waiting for nature’s passing creations, and the slow processes of pressure and heat that produce natural beauty over hundreds or thousands of years."
CULTURAL INFLUENCES: "I feel you are constantly being influenced by your social and cultural surroundings, especially in London, you may not even be conscious of it. I definitely live and breathe different albums or artists every season and work quite closely with the analogue photographer Jo Holland on the images for the textile prints."
PLANS FOR 2013: "Developing media and communications relationships to further curate and develop our digital presentations in the coming seasons. And maybe a bit of rest, but only a little."
