IDEAL CLIENT: “My ideal client is the woman who knows her style from head to toe, but wants to top it with a bit of ‘je ne sais quoi’!”
THE COLLECTION: “The key inspiration behind the AW13 collection is one of my favourite spots in Paris, Père Lachaise Cemetery. It may sound morbid, but the graveyard is filled with beautiful sculptural details and delicate ceramic flowers – these shapes and colours are apparent throughout the collection. It is also the burial place of many inspiring French women, including Jane Avril, who was the muse of Toulouse Lautrec. She appears in many of his famous line drawings and paintings, so I’ve tried to bring some of these flowing lines into the collection. Edith Piaf is also there, you may see her famous face peeping out from one of the pieces.”
PLANS FOR 2013: “Our plans for 2013 are to continue to expand our stockist list throughout the UK and the world, and to grow our team to help cope with the demand!”
