DESIGNER NAME: Raquel Allegra

BACKGROUND: Raquel is from Berkeley, California. She first gained a following for her deconstructed T-shirts while working as a sales associate for Barney's Beverly Hills. She was inspired to new levels of creativity as she took cues from clients who were always looking to emulate her unique sense of style. She thus introduced elegance to the once basic tee. 2009 marked the next step for the brand as the collection expanded to include richly textured pieces in deerskin, linen, cashmere and French lace.
