CHIEF CREATIVE OFFICER
In his role as Chief Creative Officer of Burberry, Christopher Bailey is responsible for the design of all Burberry collections and products, as well as all advertising, corporate art direction, architectural design, multimedia content and overall brand image for Burberry.
Christopher Bailey is a long-standing supporter and mentor of emerging British design talent from institutions around the UK including the Royal College of Art, the Chelsea College of Art, the University of Huddersfield, Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Westminster.
In 2008 Christopher Bailey set up the Burberry Foundation with Burberry Chief Executive Angela Ahrendts. The Burberry Foundation is committed to dedicating global resources to help young people realise their dreams and achieve their goals and potential through their power and creativity.
Christopher Bailey was appointed Chief Creative Officer of Burberry in November 2009, a newly created position in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the brand since his appointment at Burberry as Creative Director in May 2001.
Burberry won the award for Digital Innovation at the British Fashion Awards 2010.
