'Jodhpur Jackie' by Saloni
Synopsis: “The film, as well as the SALONI Autumn Winter 2012 collection, was loosely inspired by Jackie O's visit to Rajasthan in the 1960s. The whimsical film follows the quirky adventures of an upper-class western girl as she becomes intoxicated with the grandeur of Jodhpur and the possibilities of India.

The film follows her exploration of the palaces and forts as well as her increasingly magical journey at local fabric markets, hanging out with snake charmers, chillum -smoking holy men and more. Throughout, we witness her transformation from 60s refined elegance to the free-spirited embrace of India's madness. It is a short, colourful, energetic Bollywood story which is both a celebration of Indian heritage and refinement as well as of chaos and wild abandon.”
