Good for: old school charm
With Redchurch Street fast becoming East London’s newest destination, the Owl & the Pussycat’s refurbishment in 2010 couldn’t have come at a better time. The new owners (who also look after Camden’s very successful Lock Tavern) knew just what to do. Keeping the charming feel of the seventeenth century pub, they have added a modern British menu and cocktails behind the bar.
