Design background: Atalanta studied at Cordwainers College. She has worked with House of Holland for the past four seasons. She also designed the shoes for Sinha Stanic and Gareth Pugh.”

What is your signature style? “I’d say that it’s bold, graphic, a bit experimental with a futuristic feel but also feminine and chic.”

How would you describe the Atalanta Weller woman? “A strong woman with a great sense of fun who enjoys her life and her shoes.”

Name three things that are inspiring you for autumn/winter 2010: “Appleseed, the Italian architect, Pier Luigi Nervi and Shakespears Sister.”

What encapsulates London fashion for you? “The people.”

What do you hope this will mean for your brand? “I’m very excited and optimistic about this decade. I see a great opportunity for company growth.”

How does London influence your designs? “London is such an exciting city. I love the diversity, the opportunities and the possibility to do so much, particularly across so many different creative fields. This greatly influences my work.”
